Focus areas

Relevance and scalability scored on a 1–5 executive rubric. Select an area to drill into projects.

Ancillary Care

InBasket — Normal Labs

Compares lab results in provider InBasket pools (ACC & CDU) and auto-marks normal results as reviewed; abnormal stays for clinician.

Relevance5.0/5
Scalability5.0/5
Workflow
  1. 1Log into EMR
  2. 2Open MD Pool results in InBasket
  3. 3Identify ACC & CDU departments
  4. 4Select patient & review results
  5. 5Mark normal as reviewed; route abnormal to provider
Where Agentic AI fits

A clinical-reasoning agent contextualizes results against patient history (meds, comorbidities, trends) — not just static thresholds — and drafts patient-facing messages for clinician sign-off.

Rx Auth — Refill Reauthorization

Automates refill reauthorization for lipid, hypertension, diabetes, and similar chronic medications based on lab control limits.

Relevance5.0/5
Scalability5.0/5
Workflow
  1. 1Navigate to InBasket
  2. 2Extract medications
  3. 3Pull patient chart values for Rx Auth
  4. 4Compare labs to control limits
  5. 5If in range → refill; else → exception queue
  6. 6Send patient communication
Where Agentic AI fits

Agent evaluates adherence patterns, recent vitals, and clinical guidelines to recommend refill, dose change, or visit — turning protocol RPA into proactive chronic-care management.

Care Gaps — VMC E-Visits

Reviews previous-day E-Visits at the Virtual Medical Center, identifies open care gaps, and sends member outreach if not contacted in last 30 days.

Relevance5.0/5
Scalability5.0/5
Workflow
  1. 1Extract medical center + patient data
  2. 2Launch EMR & review chart
  3. 3Confirm gap can be addressed
  4. 4Check 30-day POE / prior outreach
  5. 5Send templated patient message
Where Agentic AI fits

Outreach agent personalizes message tone & channel (SMS/portal/email) by patient preference, books appointment slots inline, and learns from response rates to optimize outreach cadence.

Background

15 years building UiPath in Healthcare

V-OPS has worked with UiPath since its formation in 2011. We introduced UiPath to PwC in the US and HP globally and have delivered UiPath solutions to Fortune 250 companies including Walmart in the USA, UK and China. Over 90% of our work is UiPath-related, and V-OPS is driving one of the most successful UiPath-centered Healthcare programs worldwide. We've restructured and trained to focus exclusively on UiPath and Microsoft — invariably as hybrid solutions that capitalize on the relative strengths of each.

We're investing heavily in Healthcare and have used our 5-year US track record to build relationships and create innovative, scalable solutions for the NHS. At the same time, UiPath has identified Healthcare as a critical industry for Agentic Automation and Orchestration.

V-OPS as a UiPath partner

How we meet UiPath's partner criteria

In our discussions, you've shared four criteria for partner success. Here's how V-OPS maps to each.

01

Leading-edge UiPath healthcare track record

UiPath expectation: Broad and deep experience across Admin, Clinical, Pharmacy and Home Care.

V-OPS response: 100+ healthcare projects delivered with high ROI — Discovery through PM and Support — across every operational area, generating hundreds of millions in annual value. Every project is evaluated for Agentic enhancement.

02

Ability to scale rapidly

UiPath expectation: A scalable project delivered 10 times beats 10 projects delivered once.

V-OPS response: Many of our solutions have already been scaled by repetition. KP alone is a consortium of hundreds of legally separate affiliates — we've built an engagement model that compresses each repeat sales cycle.

03

Relevance outside the USA

UiPath expectation: Attractive to Healthcare markets beyond the US.

V-OPS response: Working with the NHS has been a strategic objective since early 2025. We're now engaged with two of the largest NHS Trusts (including UHB) and a GP-practice consortium — from concept stage to MHRA approval post-UAT.

04

Commercial flexibility

UiPath expectation: All US and UK Healthcare organisations face change pressure and budget constraints.

V-OPS response: We go through Discovery, Business Case and beyond entirely at our risk. NHS entities pay nothing until value is delivered. One UHB project has taken ~200 person-days and >$100k in approval costs — with no claw-back on delivery.

NHS programme

Scalable, repeatable, ready for nationwide rollout

Active NHS engagements where UiPath is included in every solution and partnership renewal agreements are in place.

Pharmacist rota optimization

Real-time visit scheduling for 70+ pharmacists across a vast UHB campus. Multiple departments tried for 10 years and failed — V-OPS and UHB are now at UAT awaiting approval.

Primary ↔ secondary care handoff

Joining primary and secondary care to reduce re-hospitalization caused by patient-care responsibility transfer errors at discharge.

Track & trace for controlled medicines

Following higher-risk and controlled medicines from Manufacturer → Distributor → Pharmacy → Ward → Patient.

Why this matters — the system issue

  • Inconsistent or unclear communication of medication changes at discharge
  • High volume of queries from general practice to hospital teams
  • Risk of medication errors and duplication of work
  • Administrative and clinical burden in primary care

The opportunity

  • Improve patient safety at transitions of care
  • Reduce avoidable workload in general practice
  • Standardise processes across the system
  • Use automation and Agentic / AI tools to streamline reconciliation

"We believe it will become an exemplar for what digital tools are capable of delivering."

Lead clinical sponsor — NHS initiative

When close to a proven solution, this work will be scaled nationwide and is highly repeatable. We need UiPath to work with us — and UiPath would benefit from this highly visible programme.
